The primary focus of Ayurveda is to promote good health, rather than fight disease. According to Ayurveda, the Universe and the living or nonliving is closely connected. So, good health is in balance only when these (the five elements, tridosha, triguna, agni, tejas.ojas) are in harmony with the Universe. Ayurveda believes that man has got powers to heal himself and we can help him to discover his hidden powers by Educating the art of life- complete lifestyle guidance.
This course is designed for those who want to learn the basics of Ayurveda, correct lifestyle, to know one’s body type, intimate relationship between oneself and nature, do’s & don’ts, home remedies for common ailments and apply the same in their lives, for self and family ca.

Fundamental Principles of Ayurveda
Panchmahabhoota (Intro. And def., Evolution, Practical utility, Panchbhautik Therapy, Bhootagni principle)
Tri-Dosha theory (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and the 15 Sub Doshas, their locations, qualities.
Normal and abnormal dosha, causes of their vitiation, symptoms and line of treatment of vitiated dosha.
